HOW IT STARTED

I attended my first show as spectator in 1992, together with my parents.  We got our first puppy, Boehringers Fearless Freddy (Timo), in 1993 from Stella Muller.  He was black and white and the apple of my mother’s eye.  We started showing him in 1994 and got bitten by the bug.  I also competed in Junior Handling until 1998, and twice qualified for the National Junior Handler of the year competition.

In 1996 my dad bought me my first bitch, Boehringers Nabilingi Nadia (Kylie), also from Stella Muller.  I registered my affix in 1998.  Kylie was my foundation bitch and had her first litter in 1998.  She was put to CH. Vanity Venus of Boehringers and it resulted in two pups, a boy and girl.  From this litter I kept Jumarcha A’Vino A’Zante (Liska).  Liska was put to Easton Braveheart in 2000 and from this litter came my first homebred Champion, CH Jumarcha Berushka Berniz (Rushka).

Kylie had one more litter in 2001.  She was put to CH Boehringers Shehr-Khan.  From this litter I kept Jumarcha Casanova Cody (Cody).  In the year 2002 I went to London for two years and during this period my parents campaigned Cody and Rushka.  In November 2002 Cody became Reserve KUSA National Dog.

Rushka was put to Ringmaster Tommy Hearns in 2004.  I kept a boy, Jumarcha Fast ‘n Furious (Mojo), and a girl, Jumarcha Fancy Face (Milla) from this litter.  Mojo got his first CC and Best of Breed at 13 months of age.  But he was never happy at the shows and retired from the ring at only 17 months.

Milla was put to CH Tuscany Hobmans Choice in 2006 and she had four lovely girls.  From this litter I kept the only brindle girl, CH Jumarcha Shakira Shiloh (Shiloh). She started her show career in October 2007 and won the CC and BOB at her first show.  With limited showing she achieved her championship status in February 2009.  Shiloh’s litter sister, Jumarcha Lady Luca (Luca) was bought by Annamarie van Onselen.  Luca are handled by me and is also performing well in the ring.

In March 2009 I got the greatest gift.  At nearly 2½ years old, CH Zeracious Maddox of Jumarcha was given to me by Griet and Frans Coetzer from Zeracious Staffords when they relocated to Australia.  In my opinion they are the Top Stafford breeders in South Africa and I am very happy to be Maddox’s new owner.  He is a pleasure to have.  I know that he will be a great asset to my breeding program.
